Andy Sernovitz has a post on his blog today that points to a collection of interesting business card designs on Flickr. Andy suggests that for some, the New Year is a time to consider a fresh new design for their business cards. Andy's post, and the clever examples on Flickr, got me to thinking.
Why not make "customer cards?' You know, business cards for your customers. Your employees aren't the only ones promoting your business. Your most satisfied customers will too. So what about creating customer cards for your biggest fans so they can more easily spread the word?
- Create a clever design with your company's information
- Add the name of your best customers
- Give them important titles
- Send them the cards with your thanks for their patronage
- Empower them to give discounts to their friends using their customer card as a coupon
I borrowed a design from the collection on Flickr and made a simple modification to demonstrate what a customer card could look like.
Spread the fire. GS

Using coupons is an incredibly smart step. Don’t let the good stuff fall through the cracks! There is free coupon organizing software available at:

Great idea. I work part-time at the adidas store @ Lenox Mall Atlanta, Ga and this would definitely help empower some of the "sneaker heads" that often buy at the store
